By working with Genesis and the Colorado Division of Housing, the CU Team gained valuable insight into the techniques and advantages of modular home design and construction. The CU-Genesis-Colorado Division of Housing collaboration greatly impacted the Team's ability to develop and patent their new environmental structural insulated panel system, BioSIPs. Following are images from the Genesis-Summit Crest factory in Berthoud, Colorado where the CU BioS(h)IP chassis was fabricated.
