Engineering Features - Building Thermal Envelope
Our design utilizes structurally insulated panels (SIPs) made by Premier. SIPs out perform frame construction by providing a continuous insulation layer and minimizing thermal bridging and additionally reduce air infiltration, construction time, and produce less waste. Our design is comprised of 8 inch SIPs (R-value=30) for the roof and walls. The floors are framed with TJI joists using engineered lumbered. |
